Stila Countless Color Pigments

Happy fall, everyone!

Omg. I can’t believe I’ve been gone for two weeks. YIKES!!!  I feel so awful, but let’s face it, high school has been kicking my butt.

My birthday was on the tenth, and I got some beautiful gifts.

I introduce to you, STILA COUNTLESS COLOR PIGMENTS! Gather ’round, gather ’round!

Obviously, they’re gorgeous. They come with a lot of product in the pan, swirled around together to create a really pretty effect. To me, they look like little planets. Cuuuuute.

Stila is a high-end brand I haven’t experimented with very much, and I was excited to try these!

I got two colors, “Tie Dye” (the blue-purple-pink one) and “Lyric” (the orange-peach-pink one). For pigmentation, they both are pretty equal. The powder comes off silky and creamy, blending seamlessly and staying put for a long time. There’s no glitter or any shimmer, just a lightly satiny finish.

Here’s an up-close look at Tie Dye.

These colors are FREAKING BEAUTIFUL.

Swirled together, it’s like a peacock-color. (I don’t really know how else to describe it!) What I like about these pigments is that you can wear the colors separate, or blend them together. Unfortunately, I can’t really wear this to school. It’s a bit much for every day…I’ll save it for homecoming! ;}

Next is Lyric.

I’ve used this one a lot these past couple weeks. Some of you might be like “Whuuut. PINK on the eyes? Gurrrl that’s cray cray.”

But this looks really nice, I swear! It’s not harsh at all, it just gives your eyes a sweet, tender blush. When I’m in a hurry, I’ll put a little on my cheeks too!

That’s all I have for today, ladies. I’ll be back with a fall look really soon, with a couple little posts in between.

Have a great afternoon! ❤

DIY Lip Color

I’m SO SO SO excited to show you guys this.

It’s a super-easy, super-fun way to create your own, personalized lip color with little to no cost. Me and my friends used to do this at slumber-parties, so we would have all these little lip-goodies to take home with us.

Let’s go!!

Supplies:

A saucer or plate

A mixing tool (fork, spoon, chopstick, ect.)

An empty tub, contact case, or any other little container

Vaseline or petroleum jelly

Vanilla extract

A blush or eyeshadow (Or both!)

Directions:

Get out your little mixing-plate and squeeze out a bit of Vaseline. Taking your eyeshadow or blush,   scratch off a generous amount of pigment onto the plate, add your yummy vanilla, and mix it all up.

If you think it’s missing something, you can always mix more colors! You’re not restricted, in fact, the more pigments, the better.

As soon as you’re happy with it, scrape it into the container.

Aaaaaaand you are done!!

Enjoy the endless possibilities! You can paint this stuff on with a lip brush or your finger, and it’s uniquely YOURS. Plus, it’s a great way to recycle old eyeshadows and blushes!

JUST A TIP: Write down what pigments you used in case you want to ever make more!

Have funnn!

Sugarpill

Hey bubbly little blog-buddies!!

Here’s a brand I really really love, but I don’t hear a lot of people talk about.

The pictures are courtesy of Sugarpill Cosmetics, one of the most crazy-pigmented, fun brands I know!

I especially love this look ^

It’s very “circus-performer meets living doll”, with a few statement pieces, including the two adorable bows in her hair! I love how her makeup didn’t really take anything away from her clothes, it all had a nice balance. YES, the falsies on the bottom lashes may have been a bit much for everyday, but take away those and it’s easily more wearable.

So..yeah. I just wanted to share!

Have fun exploring.

And check out Sugarpill’s Facebook page and website to find some crazy inspirations!
