My Earliest Memory of Color

When I was younger, everything felt new. It was a new world, a new life, new beginnings. Already at a small age, I was interested in color. Colors made me happy, and they made everyone else happy too. I drew all the time, every day, on paper bags or menus or computer paper or even on myself, with crayons or whatever I could get my hands on. My drawings made people seem proud of me.

I was six then, now I’m 13, and I know one thing. I love fashion.

Fashion is art you can touch, smell, and wear; it’s art that moves with you. It can create a statement. I’m young, but it is truly my passion.

I know tons of girls go through the “I wanna be a pop-star” faze or the “I wanna be a fashion designer” faze, or the “I’m emo” faze (yikes!). But this isn’t a faze, art is truly what I enjoy.

This blog is to share my journey through adolescence, my experiences, ideas, thoughts, and yes, my art. My fashion. My creativity. I hope you, whoever is reading this, is interested in what I have to say.
