I’ve been gone for SO long and I’m so sorry.

I know I haven’t pieced together a look for a while so here ya go!

So, for starters, I picked out my ultimate dream bikini, or “midkini”, from Delias! 

I like how it has cups..for someone who has small boobs (like me) that adds some dimension.!

Plus, the mint/floral pattern is SO CUTE. I feel like it would make tanned skin pop, and really be an eye-catcher. I’m actually ordering this midkini, ‘cuz I love it that much! <3

And from Etsy, I picked out a fabulous sand-dollar hairpin to compliment the summer idea.

It’s super beachy, but simple enough to not be distracting. It’s totally mermaid-esque. And you’ll probably be playing in the water…so you don’t really want to have too much accessories.

And now…BODY GLITTER!! Okay, seriously, it’s not just for strippers. A little on the shoulders and legs can look really flattering and fun. 

I picked out a body glitter from Victoria’s Secret, but a lot of companies and brands have glitter sprays, sticks, creams, lotions, or powders. You just have to look around!

Online, VS has three flavors: “Marshmallow Gold”, “Candy Baby”, and “Cocoa Bronze”. All of them sound delicious to me!

Next, why not add some fun earrings?

Summer Beauty 411

Okay, ya’ll ladies probably have a slight idea of what summer beauty’s all about.

No more dark lipstick, cream makeup, bundled-up fashion, or anything of that sort is allowed! :}

Seriously! In the summer, it’s all about color, color, color. Your goal is to not try to look like a super-skinny, pale waif, your goal is to look like you! <3  

In the summertime, I like to have the lightest possible makeup routine. Some mineral powder, lip gloss, and mascara is really all you need.

Who wants to look plastered by the poolside? NOT you, girly.

HERE’S SOME PRODUCTS I LOVE FOR THE WARM WEATHER: 

First, I chose Flirt PLUSHIOUS Liquid Velvet Lip Color in “Flirt Alert”. It’s a perfect summer color, like fruit punch!

PLUS, it’s glossy and fun and makes your lips look so juicy!

And then, of course, you may ask about foundation. Hun, here’s a rule: NO CREAMS, only light liquids and powders. 

My summer foundation is Bare Minerals Matte. I love the stuff! If you want a healthy, flawless glow, check this stuff out.

SWIMSUIT CONFIDENCE

Geez..I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything in FOUR WHOLE DAYS! I know..I’m bad.! :/ 

Anyways, heyyyy sexy ladies! 

Summer’s creeping up quickly…and let’s be honest…is anyone ready to squeeze into their swimsuits?

Honestly, I feel kinda self-concious. Because, A: My tummy will never be flat-as-a-board, B: I have NO boobs, and C: My ass will NEVER look as perky as J.Lo’s. 

 

Well…I have something to say to all the girls who feel the same: 

YOU SHOULD JUST EMBRACE YOUR BODY. 

I mean, who cares?!?! Who. Cares.

Have fun. Dance around. Accept yourself, gurl.!!! Summers should be cherished, so soak it up. Before you know it, it’s autumn again and we’re bundled up in scarves, thick jackets, leggings, and boots. 

Everybody, let’s make a pledge right now!!

Is This Heartbreak??

I know…my blog is not my diary. But this is too much pain to contain inside. 

I kissed this boy who I really like. We weren’t dating, we just kissed. You know. 

Now my friend (who has a boyfriend), is flirting with him and probably making out with him right about now. I’m an idiot. An idiot. 

Is this heartbreak? Is this what it feels like? 

If I could put what I feel into words, I would pick hurt. Very, very hurt. 

I can’t believe I thought he cared about me. Can anyone relate? 

How-To: Boosting Up Your Glam Factor

Sorry I’ve been gone for so long…I’ve missed you all so much, but there’s a million things going on right now.

Let’s get started with this How-To!

Is it prom? A night for clubbing? A wild-cool party? Do you just want to look your best, but amplified? Sparkly? Sexy? Edgy?

Well, here’s some ways to boost your “Glam Factor”, which can mean so many things. 

FIRST: What is a “Glam Factor”??

Your Glam Factor is something that you don’t have on your own. If you’re bored of your brown eyeshadows and nude lipsticks, this look is for you!! It’s fun, pretty, daring, and at times a little weird. It can be anything from a sparkly eyeshadow, to fun hair clips, to your tallest heels, or a slash of pink lipstick…and it’s totally YOU.

Customizable. Ever-changing. Beautiful. Imperfect. YOU.

Here’s what you need to take your inner diva into the spotlight:

• Fun makeup
• Accessories
• Courage

I know you may look at these three things and think… “Mmm gurrl, ya know I need more than dat!” Well, hunnybun, like I said, this look is totally customizable!

Here’s some of my FAVORITE tips for upping the glam:

Gloss it up, sugar. Gloss. It. UP.!!! In my opinion, nothing is sexier on the lips than the perfect shade of gloss. For nights out, I love a nicely opaque, gloss with a diamond shine, something that will stay put.

Buttttt, if you’re not a glossy-girl, go for your favorite dramatic lipstick. I love reds. They’re so classic, and that slash of crimson is sometimes all it takes to feel sexy! 

P.S: Some more great things include SHIMMER and GLITTER. (The two are very different :} ). You could play around with some shimmery eyeshadows, dust glitter on your shoulders, mix some in your lipgloss… Just DO NOT over-do it. A little shimmer is subtle, cute, and fun. A lot of shimmer screams “hot mess”. 

Other ideas include:

Hair up, colorful eyeliner, statement jewelry, fun nails, sequins, spikes, ice bling, a wrap, wristlet gloves, whatever you want!!!

Palladio Desert Rose Blush/Bronzer

I recently bought this at Sally Beauty Supply and thought I should review it, because, hey, if you’re like me, (always looking for awesome products), then you should know about this! <3

So, for starters, it has five shades, two of which are more satin, the other three are slightly shimmery.

I wear this on my cheek bones, on my nose, on my eyes, and a little on my chin and forehead. It makes me glow like a natural beauty, not look obviously fake. You can mix the colors together (like I do), or wear them separate, but I honestly prefer them together. It creates a “beach peach” color: not light and cool, just slightly warm and bronzed.

PROS: 

Multitasking

Pigmented colors

Silky

Easy to blend

Good variety

Makes the face look WONDERFUL

CONS: 

Sometimes you have to make touch-ups! :{

The packaging is a simple, plastic case with a clear top with NO brand name on the front (that’s all on the back), and looks very sleek.

Personally, I think it looks very cute and high-end, so I, Isabella, give YOU the permission to tell ANY lie with this.

MAC New York Apple

Ello, Curly-Fries! <3

I’m SUPER surprised that hardly anyone talks about this lipstick, so I thought I should share its amazing awesomeness with y’all!!

FIRST OFF, it’s one of the most sultry, wearable reds I’ve ever seen, and it’s a frost finish!

P.S: When I say frost, I don’t mean like pure chrome. It’s soft, and in all the right places!

But anyway, the color’s unique. On my skin, it really looked like a juicy, dark-berry red. NO glitter detected, even though it’s pretty sparkly in the bullet, just a light “glossy” look in the center of my bottom lip and a little on my top lip.

I have a couple other MAC Frost shades, and some can be a little dry. This one was not DRY, in fact, it sat quite comfortably.

To be honest…I bought this shade on an impulse. When I got it in the mail, my first thought was: “Oh gosh, another red lipstick. Great.” I mean, I already have MAC Red so I thought I was set…but this is more subtle.

It’s subtle..yet captivating! I like how it has a touch of mauve-sparkle along with a soft golden tone, it’s complex and it shows!

I recommend you check it out…fo’ serious. It’s great.
